First, The High School Football Huddle is actually 52 blogs in all...one for each state, plus the District of Columbia. Each state Huddle can be accessed by going to the link section on the right side. Each state, plus DC is listed there...example Alaska Huddle, Florida Huddle, Wisconsin Huddle, etc. Just click on the link and you'll be taken to the state you desire.

Jeff
Greetings. Do you know which schools have the longest current losing streaks in the country? If not, where I might find the list?
Thanks, Mike
Mike,
Currently Smith Center in Kansas owns the longest active win streak at 67 straight.
As you know, several long streaks went down at the end of the 2008 season. South Panola (MS) saw its 89 game win streak snapped in the Mississippi 5A title game last year. One day later Maryville (TN) saw it 74 game straight snapped. Bastrop's 49-game win streak also end in 2008.
I'm currently working on the current active list going into 2009, and I'll post when it is completed.
Thanks for your interest in The High School Football Huddle.
