There's no changes at the top of the latest Atlanta Journal Constitution high school football rankings as all five of the #1's won this week. At the top of Class AAAAA is nationally-ranked Lowndes, Westside-Macon is #1 in Class AAAA, Cairo is the top dog in Class AAA, Buford is ranked #1 in Class AA and ECI remains #1 in Class A

Georgia High School Football Rankings

No changes at the top of this week's Atlanta Journal Constitution high school football rankings. Lowndes stays at #1 in Class AAAAA, Tucker is still the top dog in AAAA, Cairo, which is off this weekend, remains #1 in AAA, while Buford (AA) and ECI (A) hold steady in their respective classes

Georgia High School Football Schedules

Practice in Georgia gets underway on Friday. For the five days, teams will only be allowed to workout in shorts, shoulder pads and helmets. The first day in full pads will be August 6th.

The season will open-up on August 22nd with the the Corky Kell Classic at the Georgia Dome. For a look at every schedule around the state from the Georgia High School Association, click here.
