High School Football America
Back in Chicago after an absolutely incredible night with Trish in Miles, Iowa for my first-ever 8-man high school football games between Preston and East Central.
What a great night with some of the nicest people I have ever met at a high school football game! You'll be able to check-out the story next month at High School Football America, including how much Trish enjoyed East Central's famous brat burger. That's right, I said brat BURGER! The butterflied pork chop sandwich was pretty awesome as well!
It was a drizzly night, but our spirits weren't dampened because this 164-mile trek is what I believe high school football is about.
Miles (East Central) has a population of just over 400, while Preston is just shy of 1,000.
All that good news was tempered by the fact that it appears as though some other website is stealing visitors from my website!
Sad to say...but it's true. All week long, my hits were down by 75%. I just hope the thief is happy!
Going to bed early because I'm disappointed in this fact, and I'll be up early tomorrow to gather info for my real fans. Until then, good night, and I hope the thief can sleep at night. I'm not doing your work tonight.
Instead, I'm going to fall asleep thinking of the hospitality shown us by the great people of Miles...it was worth the miles to get there! :-)
