A Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Heisman Trophy winner are among twelve people who will be inducted into the National Federation of State High School Hall of Fame.
Lou Groza palyed high school football at Martins Ferry in Ohio, and then went on to a Hall of Fame career with the Cleveland Browns.
Also selected for the Class of 2006 from football was Tony Baker, a three-sport star at Jefferson High in Portland, Oregon, who won the 1962 Heisman Trophy at Oregon State and Duane Twait, the former football coach at Emmetsburg High School in Iowa.
