INCREDIBLE: 2004 Piscataway (NJ) High School Produces Three 1st Round NFL Draft Picks

High School Football America

How good was the 2004 Piscataway football team?  Good enough to go undefeated, win a state sectional championship and send THREE of its former players into the NFL as first round draft picks.

I haven't been able to determine if this is a record, but you gotta believe it's close

On Thursday night in New York City, Anthony Davis (Rutgers) and Kyle Wilson (Boise St.) joined former Chiefs' teammate Malcolm Jenkins of the New Orleans Saints as first round NFL picks.

Davis, a offensive tackle for the Scarlet Knights, was taken by the San Francisco 49ers at #11, while Wilson, who traveled to Idaho for his college career, returns to the Garden State after being picked by the New York Jets at #29.

Last year, Jenkins, who played his college ball at Ohio State, was taken by the Saints at #14.

My good friend and former high school teammate Corky Blake, who now is a sports writer for the Express-Times, take s a look back at that 2004 Piscataway team that closed-out its season with a New Jersey sectional title with a victory over Phillipsburg.
