Mt. Carmel (7-1, 4-1) looked like if was well on its way to its eighth straight win Friday night against St. Rita (7-1, 4-1). The nationally ranked Caravan ran 69 plays to St. Rita's 28, and dominated most of the game.
Again, I said most of the game!
However, with 4 minutes and 58 seconds to go, St. Rita quarterback Peter Balsam scored on a 3-yard touchdown run to lead his team to a 7-6 win.
