Rockhurst To Begin Quest for 9th Straight Missouri State Football Championship on ESPN
With Illinois-bound Nate Scheelhaase running the show for a quarterback at Rockhurst, the Hawklets should find themselves in position for a nine-peat in Missouri.
The national prognosticators are thinking that Rockhurst will be pretty good as well, and that's why ESPN will air the team's season opener next Sunday at Blue Springs South. Rockhurst is ranked #13 by USA Today and ESPN Rise, plus #22 by Prep Nation.
Blue Springs South will be a good test since ESPN Rise has the team ranked 49th in its pre-season Fab 50.
