
Hoover High School head football coach Rush Propst spent a lot of the off-season campaigning with national publications to rank his team #1 in the country. Well the coach got his wish, and along with it, a huge bullseye.
Friday night, Propst's dream of a national championship came crashing down at the hands of #11 John Curtis (River Ridge, LA), which took down the Bucs 28-14 behind Mr. Do-It-All Joe McKnight, who caught touchdown passes of 80 and 45 yards.
