Ohio Takes On The Best In The USA

High school football junkies will get their fix this weekend in Ohio with the second annual McDonald's Kirk Herbstreit Ohio vs. USA Challenge that will spotlight nine games featuring seven teams from the USA Today Super 25 Rankings. And if you had to pick the marquee match-up, it would have to be the 2pm Saturday game that pits #3 Lakeland (FL) taking on #8 St. Xavier (Cincinnati) at the University of Cincinnati's Nippert Stadium.

Here's a what the two day schedule looks like:

Friday at Nippert Stadium, Cincinnati:

6:30 p.m. - Findlay (0-3) vs. Texas High (Texarkana, Texas; 2-0)

9 p.m. - Colerain (3-0, No. 25 USA Today) vs. Cardinal O'Hara (Philadelphia; 1-1)

Saturday at Nippert Stadium, Cincinnati:

11:30 a.m. - Moeller (2-1) vs. Byrnes (Duncan, S.C.; 3-0, No. 2 USA Today)

2 p.m. - St. Xavier (3-0, No. 8 USA Today) vs. Lakeland, Fla. (3-0, No. 3 USA Today)

6 p.m. - Centerville (2-1) vs. Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.; 1-0)

8:30 p.m. - Elder (3-0) vs. De La Salle (Concord, Calif.; 1-0, No. 5 USA Today)

Saturday at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium, Massillon

2 p.m. - Hilliard Davidson (3-0) vs. St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia; 1-1).

5 p.m. - Lakewood St. Edward (2-1, No. 13 USA Today) vs. Springdale, Ark. (2-0)

8 p.m. - Massillon (2-1) vs. Hamilton High (Chandler, Ariz.; 2-0, No. 11 USA Today)
