55 Points Not Enough For Illinois High School Team

How would you like to have your team score 55 points and lose? Well that's what happened last Friday when Carmel (IL) beat Marian Catholic (IL) 73-55. It was the third most points scored in an Illinois high school football game since 1944.

How wacky was this one? Well in one first half sequence Carmel scored five touchdowns, but only ran three offensive plays.
