Indiana Regular Season Comes To A Close

Nationally-ranked Carmel (#7 USA Today Super 25) will go after it's first-ever outright Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference high school football title Friday night when it faces Ben Davis (5-3). An MIC title seems to be a gateway to an Indiana 5A football championship as the winner of the MIC has won eight of the last nine state titles.

Carmel (8-0) has been to the last two 5A title games, winning it last year, and losing to MIC rival Warren Central in 2006.
