Today's feel good story comes from the beautiful island state of Hawaii where donations continue to pour-in from around the state for the Hawaii High School Athletic Association's Save Our Sports campaign.

According to a report in the Honolulu Advertiser, over the last three-weeks more than $650,000 has been raised to offset state budget cuts totaling $1.2 million to high school athletic programs. The story by reporter Wes Nakama states that Maui businesses have stepped-up with $30,000, which means night games will not have to be move to the afternoon to save on electricity costs.

The High School Football Huddle reported on the shortfall last week, and is encouraging everyone to donate to the Hawaii High School Athletic Association.
