Bismarck (8-2) led by sophomore quarterback Esley Thorton, who threw for 122 yards. Jon Hausauer rushed for 108 yards. Grand Forks Central finished 6-4 on the year.
Class AA Quarterfinals
Minot Bishop Ryan 27 Rugby 14
Bishop Ryan running back Blake Eggl rushed for 161 yards and a score, plus caught two passes for 78 yards.
Class A Quarterfinals
North Prairie 35 Killdeer 20
Michael McAtee rushed for 252-yards rushing plus nine receptions for 98 yards. McAtee has five straight games of 200+ yards rushing.
