QB Becomes Iowa's All-Time Passing Leader For One Play!

Cherokee quarterback Tyler Jones became Iowa's all-time passing leader on one play and then on the next...he was wasn't the top guy.

Jones needed 139 yards Friday night in his game against Central Lyon/George-Little Rock to pass Matt Sherman's record of 6,813 yards. He actually passed Sherman in the fourth quarter, but on the next play he completed a pass for a loss of a yard to fall into a tie with Sherman. His next pass was an interception, and that was Jones last pass of the game in a 44-7 win by Central Lyon/George-Little Rock.
