
Nationally-ranked Pahokee won its fourth Florida high school football championship in five years with a 53-14 win over Newberry in the 2B title game Saturday.
Quarterback Anthony Sheppard was nearly perfect. Sheppard completed 16 of his 21 passes for 384 yards and four touchdowns, that tied a state championship game record.
