St. James learned Friday night what a lot of other Louisiana teams already knew...it's hard to beat the John Curtis two times in the same season.
John Curtis captured its 22nd state high school football championship Friday night beating St. James 28-13 for the 2A title. The win came six weeks after St. James beat the Patriots 16-14 in their regular season match-up.
