Sophomore Quarterback Leads East Orange To Finish New Jersey High School Football Title

New Jersey began its sectional high school football championships in 1974...33 years later East Orange captured the school's first title.

Sophomore quarterback Quadir Pendleton led his team past Montclair 31-13 on Sunday for the North Jersey Section 1 Group 4 title. Pendleton completed 9-of-16 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown to lead the come from behind victory.
