The High School Football Huddle
No one said it would be easy for two-time Georgia AAAA champ Northside-Warner Robins (#24 USA Today Super 25) in 2008. The Eagles not only moved-up to the state's biggest classification after winning back-to-back AAAA titles, but the school also moved to the incredibly tough Region 1-AAAAA, which includes defending champ Lowndes.Friday night Northside (11-1), which is ranked #5 in the state, squares-off with unbeaten Camden County (12-0), which is ranked #2 in the state, in the second round of the GHSA playoffs. It marks the first time that two top five teams have met in the second round since the state expanded the playoffs in 1990.
