The High School Football Huddle

Coming into Saturday's Maine Class C high school football championship,
John Bapst had three state football titles to its credit, but none ever came-on the football field. John Bapst was proclaimed state champs in 1964, 1965 and 1976 before the state playoff system was created. Saturday the Crusaders (11-1) beat previously unbeaten
Winthrop (11-1) 21-14 to win the Class C title.
