There's plenty of high school football to be served-up Thursday, and one of the most fascinating stories I came across this week comes out of the Boston area where 84-year Joe Tighe will coach his 50th...yes 50th...Thanksgiving Day game when Lexington plays Burlington. The 84-year old Tighe is the third winningest coach in Massachusetts high school football history with 256 victories. His overall record at three schools is 256-212-13.

By the way, former Brockton head coach Armond Colombo is #1 on the Mass wins list with a record of 316-100-5.

Here's the list of the top five active coaches by victories...

Vito Capizzo (Nantucket) 293-139-8
Ken LaChapelle (Northbridge) 266-83-6
Bill Tighe (Lexington) 256-222-13
Tom Lamb (Natick) 236-63-2
Tom Lopez (Lincoln-Sudbury) 221-91-4
