Georgia Quarterfinals Set By Coin Flips

By Jeff Fisher
The High School Football Huddle

It's hard to believe, but the Lowndes Vikings (#6 USA Today Super 25) will be on the road for the quarterfinal round of the Georgia high school football playoffs. The #1 team in AAAAA will be on the road Friday night to face #5 Grayson (12-0) because it lost a coin flip Saturday to determine the home team. The reason for the coin flip, both teams are region champs and that's the way the state determines, who gets a home game. Click here to read about the Vikings (12-0) only "loss" so far this year.
