Top Ranked Southlake Carroll (TX) Opens Season With New Coach...Same Expectations


The Southlake Carroll Dragons enter the 2007 high school football season Friday night with a home game against Lake Highlands. On the surface, it will be just another game...probably ending in the Dragons extending their win streak to 49 straight.

Look below the surface and you'll see a big sub-plot. How will new head coach Hal Wasson handle the pressure of coaching his first game at the football-crazed school?

The 50-year Wasson took over for Todd Dodge, who moved on to North Texas after winning three straight state titles and four in five years.
