Northwestern (FL) Moves To The Top Spot In Latest PrepNation.com Poll

We'll once again, here's why you can't really distinguish the top teams in the nation...especially when you do so in polls.

PrepNation.com has released it's latest poll and thanks to its win over Southlake Carroll (TX), Northwestern (Miami) is the new #1. The Bulls vaulted from #3 to #1 with their 29-21 win on Saturday.

What's surprising is that Southlake wasn't the #1 team coming into last weekend's games. St. Xavier (Cincinnati, OH) had held that spot since the website released its pre-season polls, and at first blush has played a tougher schedule than Northwestern and Southlake Carroll combined.

St. X's wins in the last three weeks have come over "nationally-ranked" DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD), in-state Ohio power Glenville and Trinity on Friday, which came into the game ranked #1 in Kentucky's 6A class.

Oh well?????

New entries to the poll this week, Centennial (Corona, CA) at #19, De La Salle (Concord, CA) at #22, Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ) at #23 and Hoover (AL) at #25.

Here's PrepNation.com's Top 25 poll for Week 6.
