After twelve tough weeks of regular season football, the first round pairings are set for the 2008 Georgia high school football playoffs. All of the #1's in each classification appear to be favorites to win state titles, but before filling out your brackets, you may want to take a look at a fact in the Atlanta Journal Constitution's fun fact that since 1988 only 40% of the #1 teams at the end of the regular season won state titles.Class AAAAA is the loaded classification with nationally-ranked Lowndes the front-runner with pressure likely to come from Camden County.
