A couple of 2006 Group 2 runner-ups have made it back to the New Jersey high school football championships looking to change their silver medals for gold ones, while West Morris is back to defend its 2006 North Jersey II title.
In South Jersey, West Deptford will play at Point Pleasant Boro on Friday looking to improve on last year's 28-0 loss to Manasquan in the South Jersey Group 2 finals. In North Jersey I, Group 2 Pascack Valley will play undefeated River Dell at Giants Stadium on Saturday. Last year P-V lost by one-point to Westwood in the championship game.
