Kimberly Runs To Wisconsin Division 2 Championship

Kimberly won its first-ever Wisconsin high school football championship when it beat DeForest 20-7 Friday in the Division 2 title game.

The Papermakers were led by senior running back Michael Sewell, who picked-up 200 yards rushing and scored two touchdowns. On the other side of the ball, Kimberly stopped DeForest's big back Tylur Lengfeld, who entered the game having carried the ball an amazing 345 times this year for nearly 2,000 yards. Lengfeld was held to just 95-yards on 30 tries.
