Two of the best Maine high school football teams in the last four years met once again Saturday to decide the state's Class A championship.
For the third time in the last four years it was Bonny Eagle taking home the title by beating defending 2006 champ Lawrence 34-14 before 7,200 fans at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland. The win snapped Lawrence's 22-game win streak.
This one was never in doubt as Bonny Eagle raced out to a 27-0 halftime lead.
