How Do You Spell Dynasty?? D-R-I-S-C-O-L-L
Believe it or not, but Driscoll's (Addison, IL) seventh consecutive high school football championship isn't a national record. In fact, the Highlanders' are only halfway home.
Driscoll (14-0) beat Bloomington Central Catholic (13-1) 48-24 Friday to win the Illinois 4A state high school football championship. It was Driscoll's 35th straight playoff victory.
The Highlanders were led by David Schwabe and Tim Franken. Schwabe rushed for 238 yards. Franken finished with 159 yards rushing and five touchdown.
