Berthoud wiped away the bad memories of a 2006 perfect season that ended with a opening round playoff loss by winning Falcon 22-13 for the Colorado 3A high school football championship.
Junior quarterback Jordan Major was named the game MVP going 6-for-14 through the air for 74 yards and a touchdown, plus one rushing touchdown.
